Dan and Molly Schubert: A model of excellent customer service.
We never even considered buying and now we had to find a house and close the deal in 60 days!
That's what happened when our landlord said that she sold the house that we were renting...

And that's also when Dan and Molly stepped up and went way beyond the agent/client relationship and became concerned, caring friends. They were always available and followed up on details--days, evenings, and weekends--whatever it took to help us out.
I've been involved in sales, sales techniques and customer service training for over twenty-five years and the two things that I hate most are:
1. The "hard closing, let's make this happen fast, I just want my commission" type of salesperson.
2. The "I'll pretend to be your buddy, if that's what it takes to get the sale closed" salesperson.
My favorite style of selling is "relationship selling". No high pressure, no hard closes. Just a genuine concern to find out what your needs are and fill them. When that happens, everybody wins. I might add that it's virtually impossible to fake relationship selling because you have to really want to be involved and pay attention to your client's concerns and needs in order to fill them. Dan and Molly are textbook examples of relationship selling.

While some agents just threw dozens of inappropriate listings at us, Molly truly listened to our needs and only had to show us a couple before we found the one we wanted.

We also had many "unique challenges" in getting financed, but they were able to help us there too.
It would take too many pages to detail all of the things that Dan and Molly provided answers and solutions for, so here are just a few examples:

--When submitting our offer, Molly typed a personal letter to the sellers explaining our situation as well as adding some personal insights that she was sure would help us "close the deal" with them. It did!
--On quite a few occasions I was stressed out with those littled setbacks that can happen when buying a house, not to mention all of the terms, conditions, options and paperwork.... I know I was not always a pleasant person to deal with, but Dan and Molly never once stopped being complete professionals and helped to put me at ease every time.
--One day Dan spent almost 5 hours waiting with me for the gas company to show up. I know there must have been a lot more productive work he should have been doing, but he chose to wait with me because it was important.
--There were several concerns with what the inspections turned up and they did everything they could to make sure that we were satisfied.
--Since we had to do a 30 day escrow (in a booming market), Dan and Molly used their influence with the lender to make sure that everything went on schedule. Thanks to them, it did!
--Like I said, there are many, many more examples of how well they took care of us but you might start thinking that they paid me off to say all of these nice things!
--I will add one more thing. Their follow-up after the sale was wonderful. It's great to work with someone who doesn't forget you after they get their commission!

In closing, I just want to say that if you are in the market to buy or sell a house, you can't get a better team on your side than Dan and Molly Schubert.
